Zero Data Collection by Architecture
Unlike standard web services, WConvert does not operate file processing backend servers. When you convert a file, your browser loads compiled WebAssembly code once and runs it exclusively inside your device local memory.
1. File Data & Uploads
We never upload, transmit, store, or inspect the contents of your files. All byte stream transformations (including PDF merging, image resizing, and audio decoding) are executed client-side inside your browser sandbox.
2. GDPR & HIPAA Compliance
Because zero personal data or protected health information (ePHI) is ever received, collected, or stored by our servers, WConvert natively adheres to GDPR Article 25 ("Data protection by design and by default") and the HIPAA Security Rule.
3. Telemetry & Analytics
We utilize standard anonymized traffic analytics (Google Analytics 4) solely to measure aggregate page visits, browser compatibility, and site performance. No file names, sizes, or contents are ever sent to analytics.
